Day 1: Arrival at Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

• Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hrs), Bhutan’s capital city.

  • Buddha Dordenma (Gigantic Buddha Statue)

  • Tashichho Dzong (Thimphu Dzong)

• Leisure time at Thimphu’s local markets.

• Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Punakha

• After breakfast, explore more of Thimphu:

  • Folk Heritage Museum

  • Motithang Takin Preserve (to see Bhutan’s national animal)

  • National Handicrafts Emporium

• Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (enjoy stunning Himalayan views).

• Visit:

  • Punakha Dzong (stunning fortress at the confluence of two rivers)

  • Suspension Bridge (longest in Bhutan)

• Overnight in Punakha.

Day 3: Punakha Excursion – Return to Paro

• After breakfast, visit:

  • Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)

  • Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten (short hike with beautiful valley views)

• Drive back to Paro (4.5 hrs).

• Overnight in Paro.

Day 4: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike OR Chele La Pass Excursion

Option 1: Tiger’s Nest Hike (Taktsang Monastery)

• A 5-hour trek to Bhutan’s most iconic monastery, perched on a cliffside.

• Explore the sacred site and return to Paro.

Option 2: Chele La Pass Excursion

• Drive to Chele La Pass (3,988m), the highest motorable pass in Bhutan.

• Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas and Mount Jomolhari.

• Visit Kila Gompa Nunnery on the way back.

• Rest and shopping at Paro’s local markets.

• Overnight in Paro.

Day 5: Departure from Paro

• Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey with beautiful memories.
